What are Hertz (Hz) of a monitor?

The refresh rate, measured in hertz (Hz), indicates how many times per second your screen updates the image. For example, a 60Hz monitor draws 60 frames every second, while a 144Hz monitor draws 144.

60Hz: Standard for office automation and previous generation consoles. Enough for most.
144Hz - 240Hz: Ideal for competitive gamers (CS:GO, Valorant, Call of Duty). Everything looks much more fluid and the mouse movements are more precise.
