How to record without black stripes?
If you choose to record only a "Chrome Tab" or a "Window", the browser will crop the taskbar and top tabs. This can cause the video to be stretched with black bars at the top and bottom. To avoid this and get a perfect video format, simply press F11 (or Fn+F11 on laptops) to put your browser in full screen before clicking the record button. Alternatively, you can choose the "Whole Screen" option.

Our tool uses the Screen Capture API from your web browser to record the screen. All video processing and file export occurs in your computer's RAM. We never upload your video to our servers. It is completely private, secure and free of watermarks.
In what format is the video downloaded?
The output format depends on your browser. Chrome and Edge export videos in .webm, which offers excellent quality with little weight, ideal for sharing on YouTube, WhatsApp or modern platforms. If you use Safari, the video may be saved in .mp4.
