Hoe u de toetsenbordtest uitvoert

Controleer of alle toetsen op uw laptop of desktop correct werken met behulp van onze veilige en privé in-browser tool.

  • Druk op een willekeurige toets: Terwijl u typt, lichten de bijbehorende toetsen groen op op het scherm.
  • Ghosting-test: Druk meerdere toetsen tegelijkertijd in. Als uw toetsenbord over Anti-Ghosting beschikt, moeten alle toetsen die u tegelijkertijd indrukt, oplichten.
  • Laptopmodus: Als u een apparaat zonder numeriek toetsenbord aan de rechterkant gebruikt, kunt u dit verbergen door het selectievakje hierboven uit te schakelen.
  • Als een toets niet oplicht: Dit betekent dat het systeem geen signaal ontvangt. Als u op een toets drukt en deze niet op het scherm verschijnt (en het is geen speciale Windows-toets), is het fysieke mechanisme van uw toetsenbord vrijwel zeker beschadigd of vuil.

How to test your Keyboard

  1. Ensure your browser window is active and in focus.
  2. Start pressing the keys on your physical keyboard one by one.

  4. If a key does not light up or respond, it may be physically damaged or suffering from a software mapping issue.

What is Keyboard Ghosting?

Keyboard ghosting (or Key Rollover failure) happens when a keyboard fails to register multiple simultaneous key presses. This is a common issue for gamers who need to press W, A, Shift, and Space at the same time. To test for ghosting:

  • Press and hold both Left Shift and Right Shift.
  • While holding them, type a sentence like "THE QUICK BROWN FOX JUMPS OVER THE LAZY DOG".
  • If letters are missing on the screen, your keyboard suffers from ghosting limits (e.g., 2-Key Rollover). High-end gaming keyboards usually feature NKRO (N-Key Rollover), allowing unlimited simultaneous presses.
