De lange uitleg: hoe de test werkt

Als dit de eerste keer is dat u ons bezoekt, zal uw browser vragen of u de site toegang geeft tot uw microfoon. Selecteer "Toestaan".

  • Op een pc zou deze vraag in de buurt van de adresbalk bovenaan het scherm moeten staan.
  • Op mobiele apparaten veegt u omhoog of vinkt u de onderkant aan om te verschijnen.

Elke keer dat uw microfoon een geluid hoort, ziet u dan een lijn bewegen in het testgebied. Als de lijn beweegt wanneer u in de microfoon spreekt, is het testresultaat succesvol: Uw microfoon werkt en is correct geconfigureerd.

Gids voor probleemoplossing

Als u de lijn niet ziet bewegen nadat u toegang tot de microfoon hebt verleend, probeert u deze essentiële stappen:

Maak een hard geluid In sommige gevallen zie je de lijn pas als je een relatief hard geluid maakt. Probeer luider te spreken en kijk of de lijn verschijnt.

Werkt uw microfoon, maar klinkt deze erg stil? Dit is meestal een systeemconfiguratie. In Windows: Ga naar Configuratiescherm > Geluid > tabblad Opnemen, dubbelklik op uw microfoon, tabblad Niveaus en zet deze op 100%. Op Mac: Systeemvoorkeuren > Geluid > Invoer en pas het volume naar rechts aan.

Als je een lijn ziet, maar deze beweegt niet...

Als u een lijn ziet maar deze niet beweegt, is uw microfoon beschadigd of (veel waarschijnlijker) dat deze niet correct is geconfigureerd in uw besturingssysteem. Probeer deze geavanceerde stappen om het probleem op te lossen:

Browser wijzigen Als u Safari als webbrowser gebruikt, probeer dan deze pagina te openen met een andere browser (zoals Chrome of Firefox) om compatibiliteitsproblemen uit te sluiten.

Controleer de haven Controleer of uw microfoon is aangesloten op de juiste 3,5 mm-ingang (meestal roze). Als het een USB-microfoon is, zorg er dan voor dat deze rechtstreeks op een functionele USB-poort is aangesloten (en gebruik niet de roze ingang).

Mute-knop Controleer of uw microfoon niet fysiek is uitgeschakeld. Soms heeft de microfoon een mute-knop verborgen op de hoofdtelefoon of kabel.

Systeemvolume Controleer of het microfoonvolume op uw besturingssysteem niet volledig op 0% staat.
